Information Page

Every class will go on at least one school trip during the academic year. Some classes are very lucky and go on more! Read on to find out about the trips the children go on.

Children in years 5 and 6 are given the opportunity to take part in a five day residential trip to Bradwell Outdoors Centre every May. They are able to try out lots of new activities including canoeing, sailing, high ropes and archery.

More pictures can be found on the gallery page.

The children in years 5 and 6 also take part in a day trip to France. They visit St. Omar where they are able to look around the shops and try their hand at placing an order in a cafe. They also visit either Nausicaa Aquarium or La Coupole. A fantastic day is had by all and it is a credit to the children that their excellent behaviour enables this trip to take place.

As a priviledge for being in class 6 and working so hard year 6 also enjoy trips to the River Stour at Dedham, Highwoods Country Park and Walton beach.

Year 4 visit Kentwell Hall in the summer term. This links with their history work on the tudors and they enjoy dressing up!

Year 3 visit Colchester castle to consolidate their work on the Romans. We are lucky to have such a fantastic historical site so close by.

Year 2 enjoy a day trip to Walton beach linked to their geography work on coasts.

Year 1 go to the local park to investigate forces as part of their science work.

The reception class enjoy seeing the animals when they go Marsh farm.
