St. Andrew's voluntary Aided Chuch of England Primary School was opened on the present site in 1867, although there is evidence of a school in Weeley as early as 1797. In 1810 a schoolroom was built in The Street and this was used until 1865 when the squire of Weelet donated the present site. St Andrew's has grown in reputation and size ever since. It is located in the village of Weeley, close to Clacton-on-sea.

  St. Andrew's has its own playing fields and nature areas which are used by the children for study purposes. We also have our own kitchens on site and the children are able to enjoy healthy, nutritous school meals.

The school has a strong Christian ethos and has an excellent reputation for academic standards, as well as for extra-curricular activities. In particular, the pupils are able to take part in a wide range of sporting and musical activities through which they gain many qualifications and awards.
